Character: yellowish to dark powder, brown aqueous solution of tea, white powder or crystalline solid, with astringency. Soluble in water, ethanol, ethyl acetate, slightly soluble in fat.

To heat, acid stable, dark green iron complex case. Slightly moisture absorption, aqueous solution pH of 3 to 4, easily oxidized under alkaline conditions browning.

Usage: Tea polyphenols have antioxidant and anti-aging, lowering blood pressure and a series of good pharmacological features.
