Treatment of Parkinson's drugs

Pramipexole hydrochloride is a drug for treating Parkinson's syndrome. It is a selective non-ergoline dopamine receptor agonist. It has been successfully developed by Boehringer Ingelheim, Germany. It is currently the most widely used dopamine receptor in the world. An agonist, which was first approved by the FDA in May 1997 for the treatment of idiopathic Parkinson's disease, can alleviate the symptoms and signs of the patient. It can be used alone or in combination with levodopa and is sold in the United States under the trade name Mirapex. It was the FDA's first approval of Parkinson's drug for the past six years. In 2007, it was marketed in China under the trade name Senforo, used to treat signs and symptoms of idiopathic Parkinson's disease, alone (no levodopa) or in combination with levodopa.
